The second day at Tg Karang is beginning brightly. We were shown how the locals there produced the trademark Tg Karang pineapple biscuits at the nearby SME (Small Medium Enterprise) producing plant.
After molding it into nice, cute oval shaped flour, it is then stuffed with pineapple jam. A piece of walnut, or any kind of nut is stuffed together with the jam.
Other than pineapple biscuits, they also produce various soft biscuits such as these:
Strawberry biscuits, mixed flavours biscuits, and my favourite...
Chocolate pineapple biscuits and strawberry pineapple biscuits. One cannot miss this opportunity to taste and savour the mouth-watering biscuits of Tg Karang.
Next, they have the crunchy, yummy, and tasty ubi kayu chips.
Firstly, the tapioca needs to be removed from it's bark.
Then, it needs to be cut into pieces by the fillet machine.
One needs to push the ubi kayu to the machine to feed it. But,be careful not to insert your fingers!
And then fry it...then...
...poof! you got yourself bags of chips! This is a must try delicacy for any traveler to Tg Karang.
And...
After a long day tour, we finally get to sit and rest to be ready for the night's climax show!
